About the teacher:
My Name is Melissa Davis. I have been dabbling in art my whole life. I am currently an Art Major studying Art History as of now, but one day hope to be involved in the Art Therapy field. I love creating with anything from pastels to crayons and clay to mud. My new adventure is knitting. I previously taught anything from science to summer camp classes for the city of Fort Collins. Now that I'm the mother of a beautiful lil' artist, I continue to explore new mediums and ideas about art. One thing I believe is that everyone is an artist we just sometime forget to allow ourselves to be. I believe in using high quality materials, they shouldn't be reserved for just the professionals. I also enjoy recycling everyday "leftover" stuff into art, and I'm sure teaching about the three "R's" (Reduce, Recycle and Reuse) will creep into my classes. I am so excited to inspire and be inspired by your lil' artists!

Seedlings Art (Ages 9-24mo) Wednesday 9:30am-10:15am (Jan. 21-Feb.11)

Get ready to get messy and have some fun! You and your little one will be encouraged to creatively explore a different theme each week. We will do various art projects and be introduced to classical children's music and art pieces. Be sure to wear clothes suitable for getting messy, just diapers are perfect for this class- babies are experts at body art! $45- Includes ALL art materials and supplies.

Lil Sprouts Art I (Ages 2-4 yrs) Wednesday 10:30am-11:15am (Jan. 21-Feb.11)

Toddlers are very tactile. Most enjoy creating, discovering and exploring different art mediums. This Arts & Crafts Class is not just an occasion to get messy - it's a learning experience as well! This 45-minute themed class will involve an interactive story, music and a related art project sure to get your little toddler creating away! Make sure to wear clothes suitable for getting messy. (This is a class designed for parents and children, so plan on staying the whole time with your little one.) $45- Includes ALL art materials and supplies.
